Mrs. Modupeola is a Social Worker with over 25 years of practice and a resource person in the area of community engagements, capacity

building for stakeholders on various social issues, particularly issues of Child Safeguarding and Protection, Humanitarian Services, and Gender

Based Violence. She is a graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where she

bagged a B.A. major in Philosophy and a minor in Sociology. She then went on to the Lagos State University for her Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). She is also a graduate of AIG Public Leadership Programme from the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. She is currently a Doctorate student in Social Work (DSW) at the Lagos State University.

As a result of her commitment to social and humanitarian services, she has volunteered for humanitarian work in different capacities and also served on the board of Safe Haven Children’s Foundation (SHCF), a Non-Profit based in Nigeria which provides emergency protection services for children and also support for families and vulnerable children who have experienced different forms of abuse and hardship. The support provided by SHCF includes support for birth registration, nutritional support, counselling services, early childhood trauma management, psychosocial support, capacity building for stakeholders, public enlightenment, and community engagements, all of which Modupeola always played leadership roles in. Modupeola is dynamic, resilient, hardworking, a good leader, and a team player. Her expertise and many years of experience make her a good fit for the position of the President of Mutual Aim. Her previous experiences and passion for working with underrepresented demographics have brought her to serve on the board of Mutual Aim, where she hopes to continue to make an impact.
